Michael Angelo brought out a breath-taking beautiful angel out of a rejected block of marble. He could have figured out the worst devil out of it too or simply reject it as well and continue his way, but he chosed to chisel out of it a beautiful angel.
Angelo's angel was not in the marble. It was in him and he made it manifest in the marble.
What opportunity are you having now? Whatever that is, it is your block of marble. What you make of it is not dependent on the opportunity but upon your interpreatation of the circumstance. Your thought, your belief and your attitude will set the angel out of the marble free.
With positive thoughts and believes based on divine laws and divine promises, you can always turn your lemon into lemonade. All ugly-looking "blocks of marble" can produce beautiful angels in the hands of he who works in faith with divine laws. Every thing comes from within. what you see outside as the material universe is a manifestation of what is found inside. the I AM is everything. From it, every thing springs and into it everything dissolves. Where is the doupt?
Turn towards the SELF. Turn towards what does not change. There you will find eternal bliss. unaloyed happiness, unbroken peace.
Know yourself and be free.
The finding of God is the coming to oneself.

"I saw the angel in the marble and carved until i set him free"

what we experience in our life as suffering is as a result of mis-identification of who we really are, according to ancient spiritual masters. Letting go that mis-identification ends our suffering. Here we share stories and articles on our search for the SELF in order to find eternal bliss

Hello Dear Readers, I am excited to share todays blog with you. Been away for a while but always happy to come back with new inspiration regarding the ultimate quest of who we are, which is my major goal for this blog site; to share my viewpoint of who we really are with you and being inspired in return by your comments and feedback..
A sage once said, "The apex of ignorance is not being ill-informed or un-informed, it is falsely identifying ourselves as our forms"
We all at one point have identified are true self as our body. But the body was aquired as we all know. It started with a drop of human protoplasm and it grows from youth to old age. It suffers birth, sickness and death. But our true self is not that. It is That which is witnessing the activities of the body.
A dead man still has ears, eyes mouth etc but it can no longer be used to see, hear or taste because That which appreciates the taste as sweet or bitter is no more.
The ultimate question therefore is, Who am we?
Maybe this paragraph will help you start thinking about who you truely are. Just read on.
I AM
The I that is me you cannot see.
What you see is only a form that you think is me
This form that you see will not always be there.
It will change with time,
It will grow weak with age
It will suffer deaseses, sickness and death
But the I that is me, is not born nor can it die
It cannot be wet by water nor burned by fire,
No sword can piece it
No bullet can pass through it
No germ can thrive it it.
The I that is me lives eternally.
Thank you for reading and reflecting, please share your comment to improve our collective understanding of who we truely are.

How to end suffering
Dear Readers,
Are you sufferying in one way or the other? You can end it. It is our common human experience that where there is a body, there is bound to be suffering. This has been proven time and time again. Birth, illness, aging and dying is experienced by all body forms, irrespective of social status, race, color etc. All body forms cannot fail to pass through the above mentioned suffering. How then can a body ever experience eternal joy, devoid of suffering except as something else apart from the body?
Our body is acquired from a drop of human protoplasm as Dr. Wayne Dyer once said and which modern science affirm. We started this body journey as one cell and today the body has grown into a complex organism. This body is not who we are. who we are is THAT which acquired the body from the beginning. The question we may ask here is, who is this SELF that acquired this body?
Ramana Maharshi, a respected Indian saint called this THE SELF. the self is never acquired, it does not know birth or death, it is indifferent to aging and illness. THE SELF is eternal. this is that which acquired a body upon arrival on this physical plane. For THE SELF to experience itself on this plane, there is need for a body. Unfortunately, due to ignorance, the self identify itself with the body it has acquired and belief that He is that body and an ego or personality is created. This becomes the source of suffering. When the self finally comes to realize that he is different from the body suffering comes to an end and the body can now be used according to divine plan.
This is how one gets to the state of eternal happiness. The Self is the awareness center. It is the witness of the action of the body. It is most likely that if you are not always happy, you have mis- identify who you truely are. Ramana Maharshi recommended that we find out who we are by asking the following question; WHO AM I?
Doing it consistently will result in our liberation from the bondage of mis-identification with our body form. This is how we end suffering for ever.
